If you stroll past the north-eastern tip of Hyde Park on any given Sunday, you'll see crowds of people clustered around individuals, eager to hear what they are saying. There is shouting, pointing, arm-waving and a good handful of controversy. Welcome to Speakers' Corner. These days, Christians, Muslims, Socialists, Conservatives and their respective hecklers gather for a weekly battle of words. What began as a good place to test out new photographic equipment, quickly turned into a longer-term anthropological study, aiming to capture the atmosphere, movements, expressions and reactions of this interesting section of society.
